Back from Costa Brava and the Costa del Sol
After a highly successful trip, we’re back from the Costa Brava feeling inspired, energised and more excited than ever about what Spain has to offer you. The itinerary combined a a workshop of productive meetings with valuable time spent strengthening relationships with both new and existing suppliers, giving us a stronger platform to continue building unforgettable golf experiences. Matt was also fortunate enough to experience some of the best golf courses and golf resorts in Costa Brava - expanding his knowledge, while having site inspections at several hotel’s to grow our ever-growing portfolio.
We were also proud to attend the International European Convention (IEC) by IAGTO in Malaga, which provided an excellent platform for meaningful meetings, industry insights and new opportunities across the golf travel sector. A big thank you goes to the IAGTO organisers for putting together such a well-run and valuable event, and to all the suppliers we met for taking the time to share their knowledge, ideas and future plans. The convention not only strengthened existing relationships but also helped open the door to new partnerships that will support the continued growth of Dream Golf Holidays and the experiences we can offer to you.
Building Stronger Relationships
A major focus of the trip was meeting with new suppliers and reconnecting with those we already work closely with. These conversations are an important part of how we keep improving the holidays we create, helping us stay up to date with the latest developments across the golfing world and ensuring you benefit from the best possible service and experiences.
We value those long-standing supplier relationships highly, and it was great to spend time together discussing future opportunities, shared goals and ways to make our offering even stronger. At the same time, meeting new partners opened the door to fresh ideas and exciting possibilities for future golf itineraries.
Costa Brava
The Costa Brava continues to impress with the quality and variety of its golf and hospitality offering. Empordà Golf Resort stood out as a superb example of the area’s golfing pedigree, combining a memorable layout across two very different courses - Forrest and Dunes, with a setting that captures the natural beauty of the region. As one of the regions top golf resorts, Emporda offers you all the facilities you would expect in one location.
Hotel Perelada also left a strong impression, offering an elegant base that adds real value to a golf break in this part of Spain. It is exactly the kind of resort that enhances the overall experience, giving golfers a place to relax and enjoy the wider destination beyond the fairways. Onsite vineyards and a spa, while been surrounded by Spanish culture make Hotel Perelada a complete 5* retreat.
The Highlight - Camiral
Of course, the standout highlight of the trip was Camiral. As one of the most exciting golf resorts in the region, it was a privilege to experience it first-hand and see why it has such a strong reputation. Everything about the resort reinforces its status as a flagship destination for golfers looking for something special in the Costa Brava.
Camiral represents the very best of what this area can offer, and it was the perfect centrepiece to a trip that showcased both the quality and the potential of the region. If you’re seeking a luxury break with championship golf, exceptional service and a memorable setting, it is a destination that deserves serious attention.
Steeped in history, but also with a very exciting future ahead as host of the 2031 Ryder Cup, now is the perfect time to experience Camiral and get your piece of golfing history.
Looking Ahead
This trip has only strengthened our belief in the Costa Brava as a destination for outstanding golf holidays. With excellent courses, first-class resorts and a growing network of trusted partners, we’re excited about what comes next and the itineraries we’ll be able to create as a result.
The four days Paul and Matt spent in the Costa del Sol region served as a reminder of the blue skies, lush fairways and Spanish culture that are readily available at every turn.
Most importantly, the relationships built and renewed during the trip will help us continue improving the experience we deliver to you. That’s what makes trips like this so valuable — not just the golf, but the connections, insights and inspiration that come with them.
